CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

The case management component is designed to ensure that all workshop participants are provided with the opportunity to improve their ability to succeed in self-employment. Given that self-employment is a viable option, goal setting, action planning and follow up will provide the youth with the necessary support needed to be successful entrepreneurs.

Assessment, goal setting, action planning & follow-up services will be provided to youth who are enrolled in the ASET program. Youth will be provided with the opportunity to meet with the case manager to discuss the wide range of options available to them in achieving success as an entrepreneur. Effective referrals and follow-up will be a key feature of the case management process.

Youth in general tend to need more support in decision making around their future. Typically youth require assistance maximizing their potential in the areas of education, careers and self employment options. Youth are largely unaware of the various self employment options that are available to them. In order to provide meaningful support to youths we will provide intake, assessment, referral and follow-up services.
